Ahead of The Curve – APHRODISIAC

Are you aware that black women, women of color through out the African diaspora continue to be the largest growing population of those being infected with HIV and AIDSAhead Of The Curve founder and CEO Merrick Buckingham works tirelessly to promote awareness and raise funds to combat the spread of HIV and AIDS in our communities.  APHRODISIAC is one of the most fun filled and creative ways Ahead Of The Curve raises funds to combat the spread of HIV and AIDS.  Anu Essentials is proud to be a sponsor of this incredible event and ask that you help us by attending APHRODISIAC, held in the Dominican Republic and or by purchasing our ever popular, rich, cream based and lush Leave-In-Conditioner.  A portion of the proceeds from the purchase of Anu Essentials Leave-In-Conditioner during the months of September and October will go towards this worthy cause.

APHRODISIAC is a positively black experience! Aphrodisiac is a weekend get-away that will renew your mind and restore your soul. The weekend will bring together prominent emerging African American and Latino men and women from all around the globe for the 2nd Annual Ahead of the Curve Event that will merge on Santo Domingo, DR. SGL/LGBTQ men & women of influence will be empowered, energized, and entertained throughout the weekend

Each year in October Ahead Of The Curve (ATC) raises money through its annual event “APHRODISIAC”, our party with a purpose, for “Project Immediate Relief”, ATC’s HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention effort in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

In an ongoing effort to spread the HIV/AIDS prevention message among the LGBT community in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Ahead Of The Curve has partnered with local Dominican HIV/AIDS providers and workers to provide immediate financial assistance grants to identified persons in the community that need our grants and prevention messages to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS. These unmet basic necessities fuel an unchecked HIV/AIDS epidemic in this Caribbean country.

Your participation by attending our APHRODISIAC weekend, supporting our sponsors by buying their featured products during the month of September leading up to APHRODISIAC and participating in ATC’s online silent auction if you can or can’t be with us in the Dominican Republic, helps us to provide these grants to those in this vulnerable population.

You can look fabulous in your masquerade costume, get your tan on and support a worthy cause with

Ahead Of The Curve’s APHRODISIAC experience!!!

All Event tickets MUST be purchased online via the Ahead Of The Curve Website via PayPal.

You will NOT be able to purchase tickets at the door of each event in the Dominican Republic.
